Which of your data will be processed by us? And for which purposes?

 We process the data, you have provided in connection with your application, in order to check the availability for the suitable position (or, if applicable, other open positions in our companies) and to carry out the application process.

On what legal basis is this based?

 The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is primary § 26 BDSG valid as from 25.05.2018. Thereafter, the processing of the required data in connection with the decision to establish an employment relationship is permitted.

If the data is required for the prosecution after completion of the application process, data processing based on the requirements of Art. 6 GDPR, in particular for the exercise of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR can take place. Our interest then lies in the enforcement or defence against claims.

How long is the data stored?

 Personal Data of applicants will be deleted, in case of rejection, after 6 months.

In the event that you have agreed to the further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool, where the data will be deleted after two years.

If you have been appointed for a job during the application process, the data from the application system will be transferred to our personnel information system.

To which recipients will the data be passed on?

Your application will be viewed by the Human Resources department upon receipt. Suitable applications will be forwarded internally to the heads of department for the respective open position. The further procedure will then be coordinated. Generally, only those persons in the company have access to your data, who are responsible for the correct process of our application.

Where is the data processed?

The data is used exclusively at data centers of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Your rights as “concerned”

You have the right of information about your personal data, which we have processed.

In the case of a request of information, which is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may request evidence from your side, proving that you are the person for whom you are claiming to be.

You also have the right to correct or delete or restrict the processing of your personal data in scope of the legal requirements.

Furthermore, you have the right to contradict to the processing within the scope of the legal requirements. The same applies to a right to data portability.
